From browser reference to offline companion

We built jdmeet camelot around a small decision that comes up throughout a DJ set: which key could follow the track playing now? The interactive wheel puts that relationship in front of you without turning the moment into a theory lesson.

The native edition is now available for iPhone and iPad. Once installed, it works without an internet connection. Keep your DJ software on the main screen and the key reference beside you, or use it while preparing a set away from the decks.

The first release includes all 24 Camelot keys, musical key names, touch selection, haptic feedback and VoiceOver support. It is free, with no account, advertising or in-app purchases. The design keeps the coloured rings and clear highlighted matches familiar from the website.

Start with one key. Explore four options.

For a track in 9A / E minor, tap 9A. The basic choices are 9A / E minor, 8A / A minor, 10A / B minor and 9B / G major. Stay in the same key, move one number around the same ring, or switch between relative minor and major.

That gives you a shortlist, not a command to play a particular record. Choose a candidate in your library, cue the actual transition and listen to the overlap. A strong vocal or a pitched kick tail can matter as much as the key label. BPM, phrasing, energy and arrangement still need your attention.

The app is a key reference, not an audio analyser or music player. It does not scan your collection, identify a recording’s key or mix tracks for you. Use the key shown by your DJ software and check it by ear when needed.

Choose the version that fits your setup

Get jdmeet camelot on the App Store for offline use on iPhone or iPad with iOS / iPadOS 17.0 or later. The app’s interface is in English.

Prefer not to install anything? The free browser wheel remains available on desktop and mobile. It needs a connection to load; the native app is the option for offline use.
